NASA¹s Digital Learning Network invites you to participate in the African
American History Month webcasts! In recognition of African American History
Month and Engineers Week, Goddard Space Flight Center will host live events
for students and educators featuring African American engineers and
scientists on February 15 and 16, 2011. The events will provide the
educators with a NASA engineering challenge that they can do in their

A Webcast is a video stream over the Internet of a special event or a
videoconference event. Web links are provided for viewers to interact with
the NASA presenter through e-mail or message board.

These events will be available for viewing to anyone that can access the
link above. You will need Windows Media Player installed on your computer.
Both PCs and Macs are welcome. It is recommended that you use Internet
Explorer to connect. If you have trouble, make sure that Windows Media
Player is your default (rather than Real Player, etc.). You can also access
the webcast directly in Windows Media Player by going to File – Open URL –
and pasting/typing the link.
Note: If you try to access this site prior to the dates listed above you
will see regular NASA programming.
