Atlanta Audubon Society is happy to offer FREE training in the updated Learning About Birds (LAB) curriculum series. AAS is proud to offer full color student activity pamphlets in English and Spanish along with companion educator guides that include background information and lesson ideas aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards. Nature journaling materials (while supplies last) will be weaved into LAB activities.

AAS will host the first two-part training session for educators and youth leaders at the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance Outdoor Activity Center. The training will be held on Saturday, February 12, from 2 PM- 5 PM for an indoor/outdoor component with a follow-up evening session on Wednesday, February 23 from 6:30 PM- 8 PM. Rain date for the outdoor session is set for Saturday, February 26.

All LAB training sessions and materials are free of cost, but registration is required.  To register or inquire about the program, please contact Nikki Belmonte, Education Coordinator, at or at (678) 973-2437.
